Staci Currie has joined Associated Luxury Hotels International (ALHI) as Director of Sales for the U.S. South region. In her new position Currie is responsible for assisting meeting professionals, association executives, convention specialists, and business executives in the ALHI South region with ALHI Global Sales Organization (GSO) services and support for its distinctive portfolio of more than 160 Four- and Five-Diamond quality hotels and resorts worldwide, with more than 115,000 rooms and suites and nearly 10 million square feet of meeting space. Currie is based in ALHI’s new Global Sales office in Houston, Texas. The announcement of her appointment was made jointly by ALHI CEO David Gabri, and ALHI Division Vice President Ashly Balding.
Currie comes to ALHI with extensive national sales experience, which includes serving for six years as Director of National Accounts in Global Sales for Omni Hotels & Resorts. Prior to that, she was a Sales Manager at the Grand Hyatt in Atlanta, and a Sales Manager at the Baton Rouge Hilton. Currie holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Management from McNeese State University, and is fluent in French. Currie is a member of Meeting Professionals International (MPI) and Site Texas, and she may be reached.
