Passengers who depart from Northern Taiwan can enjoy Japanese destinations such as Naha, Ishigaki and Miyakojima in Okinawa, while passengers who opt for departures from Southern Taiwan will appreciate fascinating destinations including Hong Kong and Manila and Laoag in the Philippines.
In 2016, nearly 25 million tourists worldwide have enjoyed a cruise; in response to overwhelming popular demand for cruise options in Taiwan, Mr. Ang Moo Lim, President of Star Cruise says: “After two years’ time and with the support of Taiwanese passengers, we are pleased to return to Kaohsiung with a brand-new “Jewels of the South China Sea”, a unique experience pioneered by Star Cruises that showcases Hong Kong, Kaohsiung, Manila and Laoag in one cruise journey for the first time. Over the 6 Day/5 Night voyage, passengers will enjoy a carefree cruise holiday of local gastronomic delights, distinctive architecture and sunny beaches, highlighted by the metropolitan flair of Hong Kong, the distinctive East-meets-West cultural diversity of Manila, as well as the Spanish colonial architecture and white sand beaches of Laoag.”
