In order to take inbound traveling to further heights, Singapore Tourism Board or STB, Changi Airport Group (CAG) and Singapore Airlines (SIA) and) will be entering into a joint partnership. The three parties will invest an approximate sum of $33.75 million under the renewed three-year partnership, the highest amount ever spent to promote Singapore as an attractive destination to the world.
The joint marketing team will focus on enhancing Singapore as a brilliant stopover for international travelers unlike previous style of luring only the USA and European travelers. Besides, broadening of a marketing program is yet another striking approach of the partnership which would enable to woo business and MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conventions and Exhibitions) visitors simultaneously to Singapore.
In addition, the partnership will also provide the Free Singapore Tour (FST). Herein, transfer passengers get to experience a free taste of Singapore’s offerings. Also, in order to provide authentic experiences based on the interests of the travelers like a foodie tour wherein members can experience a popular local delight. In 2016, the Free Singapore Tour has successfully attracted 59,000 passengers which are up by 8 percent from previous years. TripAdvisor’s “Top Tours in Singapore”2 has rated it as one of the top ten tours on popular travel website till April 2017.
