The Steigenberger Hotel Group is instigating a broadly-based and innovative advertising campaign to coincide with the launch of its new Internet presence. The aim is to raise awareness of the company itself and of its newly created umbrella portal www.steigenberger-world.com amongst business travellers and wealthy individual holidaymakers in particular. The campaign has been designed by the Frankfurt-based agency Wunderman and extends to encompass online banners and print advertisements in national daily newspapers and in specialist and public media. The adverts will also be displayed on over 340 City Light Posters and City Light Boards at 74 Intercity railway stations.
The campaign focuses on four motifs which mimic the reporting styles of the most well-known German publications. Headlines designed to capture the attention and arouse curiosity conceal a wide range of stories, the full details of which are only available by visiting the new website www.steigenberger-world.com. The respective advertisement designs also present the benefits of each hotel brand and give details on how to make a booking.
“The campaign concept won us over from the very outset. The audacious motifs used require a solution to be found, create curiosity amongst our customers in all the media channels and automatically lead on to our new website”, said Dirk Führer, Chief Commercial Officer of Steigenberger Hotels AG. “This active and innovative campaign underlines once more the most recent change the Steigenberger Hotel Group has undergone to become a modern, dynamic and expanding company.”
A prize draw to accompany the campaign is being staged on www.steigenberger-world.com and will run until 30 November 2013. The Steigenberger Hotel Group will be giving away €1,000 pocket money to 10 lucky visitors booking a stay at a Steigenberger or InterCityHotel via the new website.
