The flight was heading to Bromma airport in Stockholm after taking off from Gothenburg’s Landvetter airport around 6:05 am local time.
Spokesperson from the Aeronautical Rescue Coordination Centre, Birgitta Eckermark informed that it was shortly after takeoff that the pilot declared an emergency and landed on the opposite lane as there was some kind of vibrations, but before landing the pilot informed that everything was working as normal.
A spokesperson for the domestic airline BRA, Emma Sandsjö informed that the plane shook in a way that differed from the norm and the captain then chose to slow down and the vibrations stopped. She also added that the decision was then taken to go back and land in Gothenburg.
Sandsjö later added that the captain of the jet declared an emergency to the tower, but in a dialogue with the tower they decided to do a controlled, normal landing.
The pilot had to explain the entire incident to the passengers after making the landing. The entire incident delayed flights to Gothenburg’s Bromma on Monday, 7th November.
