Seven flight attendants of a certain flight of American Airlines had to be hospitalized at a Florida hospital. This happened after they had complained of headaches triggered by a strange odor on their plane.
A spokeswoman of the airlines said on Tuesday that the employees had to be offered medical treatment and then they were released.
Alexis Aran Coello said that none of the passengers on board the flight from Florida, Orlando, North Carolina or Charlotte had complained of the symptoms.
In a different incident, pressurization issues inside an aircraft of Southwest Airlines caused it make an emergency landing in Jacksonville in Florida recently. The flight had to be diverted owing to an issue with the cabin pressure. However, the plane that had been carrying 133 passengers was capable of making a safe landing.
In yet another incident, Airbus A330 of American Airlines that was carrying 10 crew members and 89 passengers was able to land safely prior to Monday midnight in Orlando.
The airline said that the medical staff checked the crew members at the airport and cleared them. However, the employees had to be transferred to the hospital early on Tuesday morning.
