Sudan’s first Vice President arranges for WTO’s Secretary-General’s visit

unwtoLt. Hen. Bakri Hassan Salih, the first Vice President of the Republic of Sudan has directed the Ministry of Tourism for arranging visit of the Secretary-General of the WTO at TOX Sudan, which is slated to take place from 13 to 15th of this month. This announcement was made during the meeting of the first Vice President of the Republic with the Minister of Tourism, Antiquities and Wildlife, Dr Mohamed Abuzaid at the Republican Palace on Monday.


During the press conference, Abuzaid said that the meeting with the first Vice President had a lot of importance, since it was the first visit for the Secretary-General of the prestigious international organization to Sudan. This visit will open a regional workshop about communications at Time of Crises, where around 60 people from media and other areas will participate. The Secretary-General of the WTO will hold meetings with the government officials. UN agencies in Sudan and students at Sudanese universities will witness the launch of the Red Sea’s Tourism and Shopping Festival.
