On long-haul flights, as from 1 July 2015, Air France crews will offer all children aged 3 to 8 a new games kit. Among all the fun games inside, there is a postcard to colour in with an exclusive new feature, a world exclusive. On the front, a plane flying over a landscape that children can colour in, and on the back, a download link to an original Kids App.
By downloading the App* before their flight on their tablet or the family’s Smartphone, children can bring their three-dimensional plane to life by taking a photo of it! Also, by “flashing” certain parts of the 3D map in the App, they can also collect stickers and reprint the drawing at home so that they can colour it in again. Each kit will be renewed every six months, to make sure that children who travel often always have a different one to colour in.On departure from Paris-Charles de Gaulle, for parents traveling in the Business cabin on a long-haul flight, their children can have fun in the dedicated Kids areas in the lounges at halls K, L and M in Terminal 2E.
These areas have kids’ furniture, Sony PlayStation Vita systems, board games, colouring books and crayons; everything is designed to make their wait before boarding a moment of relaxation for parents and fun for kids. Air France agents also give each child a magazine Bayard Jeunesse (Okapi, Pomme d’Api, J’aime lire, Adventure Box, Story Box) in French or English depending on their age. These magazines for youngsters are in addition to the digital offer available on the “Air France Press” App with six magazines in French and English that all children can download 24 hours before their flight on their tablet or Smartphone.
In addition, at Paris-Charles de Gaulle and Paris-Orly, Aéroports de Paris has introduced several play areas for young travellers on Air France flights.
