Sunshine Coast creative marketing and advertising agency dtb! Advertising has been appointed Tourism and Events Queensland’s (TEQ) sales agent.
dtb! Advertising will work with TEQ’s marketing, events and destination teams in partnership with the 13 regional tourism organisations (RTOs) to sell advertising opportunities across digital platform assets and campaign activities.
The appointment followed a comprehensive tender process for an agency to assist TEQ in achieving its strategic goal of overnight visitor expenditure of $30 billion by 2020.
“This is a very significant and exciting opportunity for our business to partner TEQ in selling Queensland’s full suite of destinations, guiding and supporting industry growth and boosting visitor expenditure,” said Michael Molloy, Managing Director of dtb! Advertising.
“We are committed to selling the value of TEQ’s advertising streams to existing and new operators through innovative methods including online and interactive engagement, along with traditional print applications.
“Our proven hands-on approach of working with RTOs and their members will support TEQ to realise their visitor expenditure targets.
“We cannot wait to get started.”
Based on the Sunshine Coast dtb! Advertising possesses global tourism experience and more than 10-years of advertising sales strategies and processes in the Gold Coast, Southern Queensland Country, Outback Queensland, Tropical North Queensland and Sunshine Coast regions.
“dtb! Advertising has the skills, energy and passion to connect and engage with existing operators, identify and work closely with new operators and support national providers to inspire the world to experience the best destination on earth,” TEQ Group Executive Global Marketing Steve McRoberts said.
“We are very excited to partner dtb! Advertising to communicate, connect and engage with members across all regions in delivering meaningful and measurable solutions to maximise their investment.”
