Al Ghurair is all set for the rebranding of its landmark properly consisting of 428 rooms and 192 apartments located at Al Ghurair Centre Complex. Al Ghurair, one of the Middle East’s leading family businesses entered into an agreement with AccorHotels.
Swissotel and Swissotel Living portfolio will manage both the properties and with this it will be making its first foray into the United Arab Emirates.
The hotel and residence is located within Deira, offers access to the iconic Al Ghurair Centre, known as one of Dubai’s original upscale shopping centres and had recently completed an expansion of AED 1.8 billion.
Accor Hotels will manage the hotel and apartments before making a transition to Swissotel and Swissotel Living by year end, when the first phase of the soft refurbishment is expected to complete.
The rebranding will bring in a new travel experience full of energy, passion and vitality. Dubai will grow as a global destination where the Al Ghurair family will play a major role , the iconic Al Ghuriar Centre is ideal to launch the city’s first Swissotel and Swissotel Living mentioned Sami Nasser, chief operating officer, luxury brands, AccorHotels Middle East.
There are 428 spacious guest rooms and suites and 192 serviced apartments offered by Al Ghurair Hotel and Al Ghurair Living.
Local and international dining offerings can be experienced with the three restaurants and lounges. Guests and residents can avail all-day dining restaurant along with a specialty restaurant and a lobby lounge.
The hotel offers meeting spaces, ballrooms, outdoor swimming pool, health club and spa, squash and a tennis court.
The Al Ghurair Centre has 350 retail, dining and entertainment outlets, a major attraction for more than 21 million visitors in a year.
