A new poll brought to the forefront that Sydney is yet to walk a mile to steal her crown as one of the greatest tourism destination in Australia with Melbourne trumpeting all the way. 2017 TripAdvisor awards, Sydney was declared as numero uno destination in Australia.

Queensland destinations of Gold Coast occupied the fourth place followed by Magnetic Island (5th), Noosa (6th), Port Douglas (8th) and Airlie beach (10th) respectively. Margaret River, the famous wine and dine region in Western Australia. To quote Ms Chipchase, ‘’ I’m also delighted to see Lord Howe Island rank as the third most popular destination in Australia.
This World Heritage-Listed island really is a paradise, home to luxury lodges, fine dining restaurants, a pristine eco-system, as well as incredible bird life, marine animals, diving spots and water sports.’’ As far as international spots are concerned, Bali tops the chart followed by London, Paris and Rome, with New York rounding out the top five.
