“This exciting youth sporting event will see family and friends travel to Tamworth for an extended period to support the competitors.”
Member for Tamworth Kevin Anderson said the AQHA International Youth World Cup will feature riding teams from 13 countries including Australia, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, France, Germany, Israel, Italy, Japan, New Zealand, Norway the UK and the USA.
“Tamworth is the centre of equine activity in NSW and we look forward to welcoming competitors and their families from all over the world to our beautiful region next year,” Mr Anderson said.
“We know that when people come to Tamworth they are always amazed with what we have to offer, whether it’s our local food and wine, facilities like the massive new adventure playground or our marsupial park, as well as our extensive retail options.
“The equine industry plays a massive roll in the city’s tourism market and whenever there’s an event on you can be assured that we roll out the red carpet for our visitors.”
