The digitization of the tourism industry will be at the centre of the 6th staging of Fitur Know-How & Export, an effort hosted by SEGITTUR and FITUR in partnership with ICEX Spain Trade and Investment, looking for a drive in exportation of Spanish tourism knowledge.
Fitur Know-How & Export, that will take place as part of FITUR 2018 from January 17th till 19th, 2018, will cover up a 1,600 m2 exhibition space in Hall 10 of Feria de Madrid, where a smart tourist destination will be created with digital technologies that will take the center stage.
Forty exhibitor companies along with innovative solutions for tourism in all its facets – hotel management, promotion, marketing, strategic consultancy, new products and services etc will be featured in the event.
This effort supports internationalization of Spanish tourism companies which have the chance to highlight their probabilities and declare their unique services and products to different international markets.
One of the key innovative ideas at this stage is the development of two spaces, one dedicated to highlight how virtual reality can benefit and help the sector where visitors can relish and have their first-hand experience of travelling prior to the main trip through different solutions.
The Start-up Area, the second space of the event will be dedicated entirely to giving visibility in terms of tourism projects with the help of new technologies developed by start-ups that go hand in hand with the main accelerators.
