Managed by Troon®, the leader in upscale golf course management, development and marketing, Fairmont St Andrews has created this new approach so that golfers can now decide on each and every element of their golf membership to control their time at the venue. With a two-month booking window and online portal with a personalised account, free junior membership, spa passes and special member guest rates, there is a tremendous amount of flexibility in this new scheme, which offers ten, twenty and thirty round bundles.

 

 

Having already elevated the traditional society or corporate golf day event for 2016, Fairmont St Andrews has now set its sights on golf club memberships. Up until now, it has not been possible to become a member at Fairmont St. Andrews, but this is set to change with prospective users able to create a benefits package to suit their individual needs. In simple terms, it’s your game, your time, your choice.

Under our scheme, each member has access to control their time at the club, playing from the tees they choose at a time to suit their lifestyle. Thanks to the new online portal, on which the tee sheet and operations features have already gone live, everything can be done simply and speedily. Whether it’s joining, renewing or topping up rounds, members can complete the process with ease through their own hub. And it doesn’t stop there…

 

 

Booking to play in the next medal, checking future play or arranging a quick, short round is now no more than a few clicks away. Games can be booked well in advance by members, another nod by Fairmont St Andrews to ensuring golfers are able to manage their own hobby time, rather than fitting to a club’s desired tee slots. Adding on member guests, for a special rate, is just as simple.

 

 

Golfers can choose from Fairmont’s two pristinely presented championship courses on the 520 acre coastal Scottish estate – the Par-71, 7,192 yards Kittocks course and the Par-71, 7,230 yards Torrance course, initially created by Ryder Cup legend Sam Torrance.

 

 

With a choice of tees to play from and a short round format available across the facility, the exceptional golf experience at Fairmont St Andrews can be enjoyed by players of all abilities. As ever, a membership at Fairmont St Andrews provides the chance to obtain affiliation with Scottish Golf Limited, who manage handicaps, insurance and playing benefits. A full adult member can also sign up any budding golfer under the age of 16 for a free junior membership. For those between the ages of 17 and 25, a youth membership is on offer from £250 for unlimited golf all year. PGA Professionals can also benefit from similar packages.
