The night air of Northern Thailand is set to be filled with the exquisite music of Mozart, Debussy, Beethoven and more on Saturday, January 16, 2016, as Four Seasons Resort Chiang Mai hosts its annual classical concert and dinner for charity.
Founded by H.E. Admiral M.L. Usni Pramoj, Privy Councillor and renowned musician, this year’s concert is performed by the celebrated Pro Musica Ensemble in the atmospheric setting of the Resort’s Rachawadee Residence. The evening’s concert program features:
Four Seasons welcomes three highly accomplished musicians who will delight the audience with their outstanding performance. Violinst Tasana Nagavajara studied at the prestigious Menuhin Academy in Switzerland and is widely acclaimed as one of Southeast Asia’s leading maestros. Roland Baldini, on viola, was born into a Viennese family of musicians, studied at the Vienna and Salzburg academies of music, and is a former professor for violin and chamber music at the Hochschule für Musik und Theatre in Leipzig, Germany. Flautist Worapon Kanweerayothin teaches the instrument at Thailand’s prestigious Silpakorn University and is the principal flautist of the Bangkok Symphony Orchestra.
The evening’s entertainment commences at 5:30 pm and is priced at THB 990 including welcome cocktails or THB 2,900 including welcome cocktails and a specially-created Italian dinner by Resort’s Executive Chef Stephane Calvet and his Italian Chef team led by Gianandrea Rossi.
All proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to The Provincial Red Cross Chapter of Chiang Mai.
