A leading international exhibitions company that is based in Dubai known as dmg events Middle East, Asia & Africa had declared that it is going to launch its signature hospitality event brand that is The Hotel Show, in the Philippines in the year 2017.
The event known as ‘The Hotel Show Philippines’ would be hosted from 2nd to 5th August 2017 in the region of Metro Manila.
This would be followed by the 18th edition of the flagship show, ‘The Hotel Show Dubai’ that would be conducted in September at the Dubai World Trade Centre in the UAE. The event would be co-located along with the World Food Expo (WOFEX) that represents the largest food show in the Philippines. This event is all geared up to celebrate its 17th edition this year.
These two major events would be offering the largest food and hospitality platform in the history of Philippines.
Their venues were World Trade Center Metro Manila and SMX Convention Center. Tersita D. Landan, the head of MICE Department, Tourism Promotions Board Philippines commented that this is an ideal time for The Hotel Show to be launched in Manila this year.
Landan also said that the constant growth of the visitor arrivals has enabled the continued growth of the hotels based in Metro Manila that has a great potential of growth even in the following three years. The Department of Tourism has recorded a total of about 5,967,005 tourists for 2016 and it surpassed the year-end arrivals of 2015 that had recorded 5,360,682.
Ray Tinston who is the Portfolio Director of the hospitality portfolio of dmg events asserted that there is actually a great demand for the materials to create, or maintain a restaurant.
He said that The Hotel Show Philippines would be attracting quite a great deal of local as well as international interest.
The announcement comes after the recent move of dmg events to geo-clone The Hotel Show in Africa.
The Hotel Show Philippines 2017 would provide a special opportunity for hospitality professionals looking forward to be engaged in business, networking and also learning about the latest trends in the leisure, restaurant and food industry in the Philippines.
