As per BMI Research, the UAE is all prepared to greet over 25 million visitors for Expo 2020 Dubai and $44 billion in international tourism receipts by 2020 as a result of its improved role as one of the leading tourism, leisure, and entertainment hubs in the world.
To quote Dan Bolton, President of the International Live Events Association Middle East, “the Middle East and North Africa is one of the world’s fastest-growing live event markets. The UAE has the potential to leapfrog established European and North American markets in using the latest audiovisual innovations to transform the visitor experience.”
According to the BMI Research and PwC reports, a huge applause goes to the mega-projects like the UAE’s Bluewaters Island, Warner Brother’s theme park and the Expo 2020 Dubai and the Middle East and North Africa’s $4 trillion construction market.
As a consequence, the professional audiovisual market of the Middle East is one of the rapid-growing in the world at 15 percent CAGR, reaching $2.8 billion last year with the UAE at $1.2 billion as the largest in the region in 2016, as per the report by InfoComm International, InfoComm Middle East and Africa organizer, one of the largest professional audiovisual event in the region.
