The nine-night tour is the personal vision of how owner Julian H. Robertson believes New Zealand should be discovered, and showcases his favourite golf courses, the best wine and fine dining New Zealand has to offer and three-night stays at each of his acclaimed properties – The Lodge at Kauri Cliffs, The Farm at Cape Kidnappers and Matakauri Lodge.
The departure date is March 1-10, 2018. The inaugural Tiger Tour took place in 2012 and the tailored journeys have continued in popularity since, with an international contingent of travel enthusiasts last taking part in March 2015.
Each of The Tiger Tours will incorporate the best of New Zealand’s North and South Islands, starting in the sub-tropical far north at Kauri Cliffs, traveling through the Hawke’s Bay wine region and concluding in the alpine lake village of Queenstown.
The tour offers a combined nine nights across the three lodges coupled with dozens of out-of-this-world destination options. This tour is inclusive of accommodations in deluxe suites with pre-dinner drinks and canapes, daily gourmet meals and complimentary non-alcoholic mini-bar.
Guests will receive VIP airport meet and greets, along with select charted flight, helicopter and ground transfers between the lodges and all scheduled activities/experiences. Additional tour highlights include (but are not limited to) golfing at four stunning courses, quintessential Kiwi experiences such as Maori culture tours, the opportunity to meet some of New Zealand’s unique birdlife, mountaintop and glacier helicopter excursions and behind the scenes winery tours, along with the opportunity to mingle with distinctive New Zealanders, human and otherwise.
Tour participants will see and experience it all first hand on this tour – dramatic coastlines and rugged rural settings, mountains, lakes, beaches, rivers, forests, fiords, quaint and historic villages and vibrant towns. With each passing day this tour sets the extraordinary side-by-side with the intimate, and bathes it all in world-class luxury.
The tour will be limited to four couples at NZ$39,000 per person, plus taxes (or approximately US$28,500 per person, plus taxes). This rate does not include international airfare and select other expenses.
