Minister for Parks and Wildlife Bess Price said the Mataranka Thermal Pool was one of the Territory’s most popular tourist destinations, attracting about 200,000 visitors a year.
She said the upgrades to the pool would cater for its rising popularity while still maintaining its natural assets for visitors to enjoy safely.

“Every effort will be made to minimise disturbance to visitors however there will be some access restrictions throughout the works to ensure the safety of everyone visiting the area,” Minister Price said.
