To make room for its growing operations in its most popular holiday destination Thomas Cook is launching a new office in Palma, Majorca in February.
It will employ 700 people and create around 325 new jobs adding to Cook’s 375 people.
Cook first established a base in Palma in 2007 for a number of its centralised services.
Cook already had its in-destination inbound agency in Palma.
The new roles are created to establish Palma as its Group Financial Shared Service Centre.
Group chief executive Peter Fankhauser mentioned that the new office in Palma will allow them to work together with better expertise and provide high quality service to Thomas Cook’s customer.
