The Thomson flight was travelling from the region of Tenerife.
And, the plane was observed to be circling the airport five times before it finally made the landing.
The roads nearby were all closed when the plane had made a landing. But presently, the roads have all been reopened.
A spokesperson for Bournemouth Airport said that an inbound aircraft had reported a technical issue. Therefore, as a safety measure, a full emergency had been declared. He said that the plane was capable of making a perfectly safe landing and was able to stand after all its passengers disembarked.
Dorset and Wiltshire Fire Services said that they were summoned around 6.05 p.m. and they had sent five fire crews to the scene.
Just a while prior to 6.30 p.m., a spokesperson of Dorset Police said that they were informed that there were concerns for an airplane that had to land at the airport.
He said that according to their schedule, the local roads are closed off while the aircraft landed. The spokesperson also said that no injuries have been reported.
