Westfield Stratford shopping centreOne of the most popular shopping centres of east London, Westfield Stratford, witnessed a massive chaos as thousands of visitors, shoppers and shop keepers evacuated the shopping complex immediately after they received reports of a fire inside the building on 18th August, Thursday.

People were found to be rushing out of the building as the fire alarm went off inside the entire shopping centre.

Visitors and shopping mall employees were found to be waiting impatiently near the escalator to leave the venue as soon as possible.

Witnesses informed that police and several more people flooded the entire compound during the incident. Some of the visitors informed that they found it very difficult to get trains after the evacuation.

The shops were shutting down during the hustle-bustle. But the Westfield Stratford authorities did not confirm the report of the fire yet. None of the visitors and the employees of the shopping mall was reported to be injured during the incident.
