People from the Delaware Valley in the Philadelphia metropolitan area, booked flight and train tickets, hired cars and took buses to witness history in the making.
A rush of travellers were found to be leaving the 30th Street Station to reach Washington DC, where numerous people wearing ‘Make America Great Again’ caps, from South Jersey, New York and Ohio also carried their inaugural kits with maps and tickets to see the President take his oath.
Sources informed that most of the travellers managed to receive the tickets from U.S. Senate and Congress.
The rail authorities informed that due to the inauguration ceremony and the Women’s march on 21st January, Saturday, the train tickets got sold out in many areas.
