Minchin will join other WA talents – including The Triffids, John Butler, Kim Scott and Tim Winton – for the free theatrical spectacular, called Home, on February 13 at Perth’s Langley Park.
Supported by the State Government through Lotterywest and Tourism WA, Home is directed by Nigel Jamieson, whose credits include the Sydney Olympics opening ceremony.
Home also involved Noongar elder and artist Dr Richard Walley, who will mark 40 years since Australia’s first civic Welcome to Country, which occurred in WA.
