TI’ME Starengthens marketing Team

time hotelUAE-headquartered hospitality company, TI’ME Hotels Management has welcomed
three new senior corporate executives to the team as it continues with aggressive plans
to build local market presence and capitalise on the forecasted 67% rise in tourism
receipts between now and 2016.

Heading up strategic development is newly appointed Vice President Sales &
Marketing, Tommy Ressopoulos. A Greek national who has worked on four continents,
Ressopoulos’ global experience includes senior sales and marketing positions and
hands-on general management roles with Hilton International in Europe, the US, North
Africa and the Indian Ocean, as well as extensive experience in strategic alliance

“I am ‘coming home’ to the region after an almost 20-year absence, and while the
hospitality landscape has changed dramatically, the business environment is a familiar
one, and I am excited to be part of a growing brand that is helping to reshape the
increasingly diverse regional tourism product,” said Ressopoulos.

Also joining the corporate line-up is Svetozar Kujic, Marketing & Communications
Manager, who is tasked with expanding promotional and marketing-related efforts in
the Middle East and driving international awareness to TIME’s growing global audience.
Kujic brings several years of international strategic brand, digital marketing and social
media experience from the tourism, FMCG, automotive and media sectors, with key
strategic roles at Opel South East Europe, MTV, the United Nations and Kon Tiki

TIME Grand Plaza Hotel also has a new man at the top with the appointment of Chris
Fourment as Hotel Manager. Fourment will oversee hotel operations and work closely
with Ressopoulos and the corporate team to drive rooms business and strategic
marketing activity as the group gains momentum and follows through with ambitious
2013 goals. Another industry professional with a joint marketing and operational
background, Fourment joins the hotel fresh from general manager roles with Accor in
the Czech Republic and UK.

“With a solid corporate hierarchy now in place, we are looking ahead to a banner
year for the brand as we move on from the successful positioning of TIME in the local
market to capturing regional and international attention – and revenue,” said Mohamed
Awadalla, Vice President, TIME Hotels Management.

“Our corporate team is made up of international hoteliers and marketing experts who,
collectively, have the hands-on experience, creativity and passion to take the brand to
the next level, and who are supported by operations professionals who have the ability
to translate both vision and strategy into a guest-facing reality,” he added.

As well as new additions to the team, Awadalla also announced several internal
promotions, with Mohamed Abdel Hadi swapping Sharjah for Dubai in his new role
as Hotel Manager in charge of TIME Crystal Hotel Apartments, TIME Topaz Hotel
Apartments and TIME Opal Hotel Apartments. Trading places with Hadi is Mohamed
El Deeb, former Operations Manager in Dubai and now the newly appointed Hotel
Manager for TIME Ruby Hotel Apartments.
