To boost up tourist arrival, Indonesia participates in IFTM Top Resa 2018

Indonesia participates in IFTMIndonesia will participate in IFTM Top Resa 2018, world`s biggest tourism bourses in France. It will start from Sept. 25th till 28th, at the Porte de Versailles, to enhance tourist arrivals from the country.

 
Nia Niscaya, the marketing undersecretary of the Tourism Ministry stated that on Monday in London that the event would have around 21 tourism operators from Jakarta, Semarang, Bali and Flores.

 
Also, the ministry had associated tourism agencies in Gorontalo and West Sumba regency in East Nusa Tenggara, along with Singapore Airlines as its partner.

 
IFTM Top Resa offers opportunities for tourism stakeholders, travel agents, hoteliers and airlines, to set up new business relations with their counterparts in foreign countries, stated the official as reported by Antara news agency.

 
Nia explained that the selection of Indonesia as a country of honor would develop brand awareness as well as media exposure to help endorse Indonesian tourism.

 
Indonesia greeted 250,921 French tourists in 2016 and 268,989 last year. It is anticipated to receive 290,000 tourists this year.

 
For the Indonesian tourist industry, Britain, France, Germany, the Netherlands and Russia are the top five European markets.
