To improve the tourism opportunity in Andhra Pradesh, the south Indian state, the tourism department has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Zoomcar, online car rental service app, to boost transportation services, tourism and create employment opportunities.
This agreement was signed and the first exclusive batch of the co-branded Zoomcar and Andhra Pradesh Tourism cars which were flagged-off by Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, Tourism secretary Mukesh Kumar Meena, AP Tourism Development Corporation (APTDC) managing director Himanshu Shukla along with Greg Moran, CEO and Co-founder of Zoomcar at the MoU signing ceremony held at Amaravati, the people’s capital of Andhra Pradesh.
On the occasion, Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu also launched ‘Hop’, Zoomcar’s one way intercity rental service in Andhra Pradesh during the event. This will give the tourists to book any rental at a value prices.
Speaking on the occasion, Mukesh Kumar Meena said that the vision is to make Andhra Pradesh a leading tourist center by providing all the probable services and facilities to the national and international tourists visiting Andhra Pradesh.
Partnering with companies like Zoomcar, which has frequent exclusive and affordable offers, is in keeping with this vision.
Greg Moran, CEO & Co-founder, Zoomcar said that they are thankful to Andhra Pradesh tourism for having them with the project.
This partnership with the Andhra Pradesh will help both in boosting the tourism opportunities of the state and also in creating employment opportunities in a short period of time.
The government shall extend their full support to ensure smooth implementation of this partnership. This will not only help tourists from outside but also provide a good opportunity to locals to explore weekend getaways in a convenient manner.
