The biggest spike in political violence insurance coverage requests is not in Afghanistan, Pakistan or Iraq. Rather, it’s in less notorious locations such as Thailand, Brazil, Kenya, Tanzania and Nigeria, according to Clements Worldwide.
Clements, a provider of international insurance in some of the world’s most dangerous hotspots, has found that countries still contending with long wars, such as Afghanistan and Iraq, are more flat in requests for political violence policies, while foreign nationals in emerging markets like Thailand and even BRIC nations are in need of further protection.
