‘Call of the Wild’ is a joint initiative between the Department of Transport, Tourism and Sport, Tourism Ireland and Fáilte Ireland – which asked people living along the Wild Atlantic Way to share images and videos of their hidden gems.
“Tourism Ireland is delighted to partner with these well-known Irish personalities to highlight the Wild Atlantic Way,” said Niall Gibbons, CEO of Tourism Ireland. “Their social media accounts are really popular in Britain, so their personal stories are a really good opportunity to showcase the West of Ireland to a large audience of potential British visitors – helping us to spread the word about what makes a holiday along the Wild Atlantic Way so memorable.”
