Tourism boom in EuropeTourism boom in Europe is raising all boats, including Tiny Montenegro. It’s the title of an article circulated in American Wall Street journal. This journal on Montenegrin tourism begins with the story of Montenegrin who is transporting travelers to the Boka Kotorska Bay.

Vladimir Milinovic has seen Western tourism in his Balkan village expand so much; he now knows who is probably to tip and who will try to bargain € 5 charges for a short duration boat ride.

To quote Milinovic while navigating the motorboat to a picture-perfect Island called Our Lady of the Rocks, “We like Americans because they are very generous. If somebody tries to get a cheaper price we know they are probably French.”

Also, the Wall Street journal explains that numerous visitors are descending to Europe this summer, partially due to strong dollar, that an increasing number are looking beyond the popular destinations of the continent, leaving barely a spot on the map unvisited.

As the line expands outside Notre-Dame in Paris, the crush swells on Saint Mark’s Square in Venice, even the Tiny Montenegro is relishing its place in the sun.
