According to a latest study by Staffordshire’s tourism economy, the county is a sought after destination among visitors. Around 24 million tourists visited the county in 2015, both domestic and international. Most enjoyed day or overnight trips spending on accommodation, entertainment, travel, shopping, food and drink, which generated over £1.2 billion. Tourism employs a lot of people in the county.
