Tourism Expo Japan this year will be held in Tokyo in September

In association with the UNWTO, Tourism EXPO Japan (TEJ) 2018 will launch a Ministerial Round Table on the first day of the EXPO, inviting Ministers of Tourism from all over the world.

 
Executives from international tourism organizations, such as the World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC), Pacific Asia Tourism Association (PATA), and governors of prefectures in Japan will be taking part in the panel discussions which will be held under the theme of “Managing Sustainable Tourism for Community Development.”

 
Ms. Anita Mendiratta, Special Advisor to the Secretary-General of UNWTO, will be moderating the event.

 
Through the years, Tourism EXPO Japan has become the world’s leading trade event. A comprehensive travel trade event, Tourism EXPO Japan brings to the forefront key players from both the travel and tourism industry and travel-related business fields.

Tourism EXPO Japan offers a fusion of opportunities, ranging from business meetings, insight sharing, discussions, media coverage and direct business-to-business and business-to-customer promotion of overseas, domestic and inbound tour products, facilities and destinations.

 
The Tourism EXPO Japan will be held from September 20-23, 2018 in Tokyo, Japan, at Tokyo Big Sight. September 20 and 21 are reserved for business discussions and industry professionals, and September 22 and 23 is open to the general public.
