Tourism Ireland had participated in ExploreGB after partnering with VisitBritain and it marks a flagship international event that had taken place in Brighton recently. It was conducted by Tourism Ireland along with 13 tourism companies.
This two-day workshop included a number of pre-scheduled one-on-one appointments portraying Britain and also the island of Ireland to the target consumers that comprised global buyers from various countries like the Middle East, India, China, Germany, Canada and the US.
ExploreGB is also an opportunity for Tourism Ireland to focus on the British-Irish Visa Scheme to buyers who have been attending the event from India and China.
This scheme makes it possible for business and leisure tourists from both these nations to visit UK and Ireland on a single visa.
Niall Gibbons who is the CEO of Tourism Ireland said that they were really excited to be a part of the prestigious event of the ExploreGB yet again this year. He went on to add that this organization works closely with VisitBritain especially for the long-haul markets like India and China with an aim to motivate tourists from these nations to make trips to Ireland.
