Tourism narrates its awesome journey by looking back to its thrilling 30 years

Zambia, NamibiaLast week, the tourism industry of Namibia came out in full throttle in a two-day deliberation and celebration of many accomplishments of the Hospitality Association of Namibia or HAN over its amazing 30-years journey, as the most representative industry body in terms of vital economic sector.

The association’s Chief Executive, Gitta Paetzold said “for the first time, this two-day event was completely sold out, and is generally described as very successful, inspiring and forward-thinking, while the special Gala night allowed for some nostalgic reflection on the history of HAN.

The industry meet had the HAN Tourism Trade Forum, association’s annual general meeting, and followed by a gala dinner where several people who has been part of the association’s full journey, were present.

Warming up for the climax, , Saffron Baggally, professional business coach accompanied the delegates on a mind-expanding tour to explain the infinite tourism potentiality to turn into a bigger catalyst in a fast changing world.

For the bigger picture, the Chief Executive of the Southern African Tourism Services Association, David Frost showed how decisions related to legislative and politics impact the regional tourism sector.
