A group of journalists and volunteers had joined #berliburdenganhati that is a term explaining the concept of spending holidays with heart. It was organized as a corporate social responsibility program in this region of late.
For three days and two nights participants of this program had enjoyed different kinds of activities like sightseeing, relaxation and absorbing in the scenery that they might not be capable of finding in other regions.
The CEO of Pelangi Benua Vinny Mulyadi mentioned that this is what they like to refer as a gastronomy travelling package and it is a complete tour package inclusive of everything like creative economy, nature, culture and food.
His company had been responsible for organizing the tour.
Utilizing the unique concept of gastronomy travelling every package also comprises tales about what was behind a particular dish that was served during the tout and also the philosophy of the dish.
For instance on the last day of their visit in this place the group was taken to the house of a member of Yogyakarta Palace’s extended royal family Kanjeng Raden Tumenggung Hamong Tedjonegoro, was the heir of Sultan Hamengkubuwono VII.
Here they enjoyed a delectable lunch that consisted of the some of the popular foods of the past sultans of the palace.
Other activities included cooking at the Bhumi Langit resort in Bantul regency, conventional lunch at Ingkun Kuali in Pajangan, Bantul and a massage after they had enjoyed sightseeing around Cebongan village on board ‘gerobak’ that are modified cow-drawn carts while being clad in traditional Javanese clothes.
