Li Wen-hsuan is one of the tourists who exclaimed that though he has visited Japan several times in the past but he loves the country so much that it has again attracted him. This time, he says, he was planning to buy some cosmetics.
He arrived in Kansai International Airport of Osaka, Japan along with his wife.
This tourist who is from Taiwan said that the itinerary for the five-day trip of the couple includes visits to different cities that include Kyoto and Osaka. While the official holidays in China are scheduled to continue for about a week till 2nd February, the officials of the airline said that this unprecedented travel tendency of tourists would continue for Japan much beyond that date.
One of the officials for Peach Aviation Limited that is a Japanese budget carrier said that the flights of Osaka are entirely booked through 5th February. An official from All Nippon Airways said that the peak season for departures from the airport might be on 5th February.
In 2016, the Chinese comprised about 26.5% of all tourists to Japan at 6.37 million. It was followed by 5.09 million people from South Korea and 4.17 million from the region of Taiwan.
