The movie ‘La La Land’ continues to leave people in a trance, inspiring hordes of travellers to pamper their tastes with an increased number of visits to Los Angeles, thanks to two recent surveys that have confirmed this magical impact of the renowned movie.
One of the surveys have been conducted by the Los Angeles Tourism and Convention Board.
The survey found that among the people across the country who have watched the movie, as much as 86% confessed that they were ‘more likely’ or even ‘much more likely’ to pay visit to L.A. Another survey indicates that among a sample of about 1,000 millennials who had seen La La land, 64% said that the movie had influenced their choices of arriving in Los Angeles.
This survey was conducted by the movie ticket seller, Fandango.
Businesses that have been catering to travellers have started capturing some of the enthusiasm over the Hollywood movie thanks to special guides and tours. Starline Tours has arranged a specific La La Land bus tour that would take fans all across the filming locations.
Discover Los Angeles has established a website that is dedicated to guiding tourists to recreate certain scenes of the movie.
The Jar that is a real-life restaurant where the character of Emma Stone dines in the movie has reported that they have been witnessing many groups of tourists dropping in and inquiring about the exact table where that scene had been shot.
The manager of the outlet, Rose Sanchez told the media that such a scenario generally happens for about three or four times every week.
