Speaking on the first day of WTM 2017, Bhuma Akhila Priya, Telegu Language and Culture Minister of Andhra Pradesh said how hopeful they are feeling to participate in this travel event. With 973 km of coastline, Andhra Pradesh has a lot to offer to its tourists. The 13 districts of the state have unique features to offer as a destination. Its waterfalls and hundreds of temples are one of the major attractions of the state.

As far as marketing strategies are involved, the Andhra Pradesh tourism authority is planning for aggressive tourism marketing campaigns and would like to attract investors for development in the travel sector.

Not only just tourism, Bhuma Akhila Priya also focused on the development of cultural aspects of the state. For instance the cuisine and the dance are very unique to the state and can be one of the major reasons for attracting tourists.

Exchange policies with Sri Lanka will help to promote Buddhism which has actually originated from Andhra Pradesh. The tourists can come to the tribal areas stay with them and new their lifestyle-exploring a very different form of tourism.

Tourists are welcome all the year round as the state has offers everything from desert, sea beaches, water sports and more.
