Now Moscow Domodedovo Airport passengers can take advantage of new mobile Internet: VimpelCom (Beeline brand), together with DOMODEDOVO IT SERVICES Company, launched a commercial version of 4G/LTE-network on the territory of the airport complex.
High-speed wireless Internet can be used by those who have LTE USB-modems of Beeline and smartphones supporting the LTE standard. At Domodedovo Airport 4G can be used by those who have mobile devices without basic equipment for data transmission with the help of the new service: LTE USB-modems and SIM cards are sold at the Airport. VimpelCom and DOMODEDOVO IT SERVICES as partners carry out connection to the fourth-generation network.
“We are pleased to offer whole new opportunities of mobile Internet to the Domodedovo passengers. The network deployed at the airport will let our subscribers and visitors to the capital using roaming Beeline services upload and send large photo or video files in seconds,” said Sergey Bauman, Technical Director of the Moscow Region, OJSC VimpelCom.
LTE (Long-Term Evolution) Technology making it possible to transfer data at 100 Mbit per second is the main trend of the 3G (third generation) mobile telecommunications systems evolution the speed of which is much lower.
