The Resort is offering Mother’s Day brunch from 10:00 am to 2:30 pm in Talavera restaurant, boasting dramatic views and the best patio dining in the Valley. Guests can savour a fruits de mer station, with offerings such as east and west coast oysters, salmon rillettes and steamed clams vinaigrette. Specialty items from the carving station include roasted orange glazed duck, garlic and rosemary beef strip loin, and salmon coulibiac. Indulge at the croque madame station, with items cooked to order by a chef attendant, along with a quiche carving and omelet station. Cheese and charcuterie, salads, fresh fruit, a specialty kids’ station and dessert offerings round out the menu. The cost of the buffet is USD 105 per person, and USD 48 for children ages 5 to 12. All mothers receive a complimentary Kir Royale upon arrival.
A specialty brunch buffet also will be available at Proof, an American Canteen, from 7:00 am to 2:00 pm, at a cost of USD 40 per adult and USD 19 for children ages 5–12. For a more casual dinner, Proof will feature a three-course menu, drawing inspiration from French bistro fare. Begin with frisee salad with house-smoked bacon lardons, poached egg, asparagus, radish, blue cheese and cider-shallot vinaigrette. Choose between a rosemary-smoked chicken or pan-seared meagre for the main course, and end with milk chocolate espresso crepe cake for a decadent finish. This three-course menu is offered beginning at 4:00 pm, at a cost of USD 58 per person.
Travel to Versailles for an Orange Blossom Bliss treatment in the Spa, drawing inspiration from the gardens of the famed French palace. Enjoy a relaxing orange blossom body scrub, followed by a soothing massage using hydrating shea butter. The 80-minute treatment concludes with a complimentary glass of sparkling wine.
