Concur, the world’s leading provider of integrated travel and expense management solutions and services, announced a new TripLink partnership with American Airlines to enable mutual customers to capture business travel bookings being made outside of traditional channels today, including those bookings made on AA.com. The integration gives travel managers the visibility, benefits and tools associated with their corporate managed travel programs across bookings that travelers are making on AA.com, while TripIt Pro, a component of the TripLink offering, captures AA.com bookings made across other channels.
This integration and partnership helps companies improve policy compliance and duty of care efforts where gaps exist for managers whose travelers are booking direct today. With TripLink, travel managers have reporting capabilities, enhanced duty of care and the ability to apply policy even when employees book directly on AA.com or send their AA itineraries to TripIt.
Concur TripLink is the first solution of its kind to extend the benefits of a managed travel program to bookings that happen directly with suppliers. This allows businesses to:
