Trodly announces the launch of its B2B marketplace for the travel agents and travel businesses that can expand their product offerings through an Agent Reseller Platform. Trodly Reseller Platform will help travel agents, hoteliers, homestay owners, tour operators, guides and even cab operators expand their businesses horizons. The platform allows travel agents to choose from thousands of Tours & Activities already listed on Trodly’s customer platform and book the same for clients at competitive B2B rates. All available tours and activities products are provided with Trodly’s ratings and backed by diligent supplier vetting process. For agents who want to offer a wider choice to customers, Trodly offers transparent solutions for Tours & Activities built on solid underlying technology.
Today over 1 lakh travel agents and tour operators in India rely on other agents acting as middlemen in other cities or states to arrange tours. Business between such parties is based on loose understandings over the phone or tie-ups forged during travel expos and events. Trody’s platform will allow agents and operators to manage and expand their business in a structured and transparent manner. The company expects to onboard over 1,000 agent resellers in 2019-20 and to generate 30% of its sales through this channel. The entire inventory of 2000+ tours and activities listed on Trodly is available for booking to agent resellers. The over 1,000 operators already on board as suppliers will get added benefit because they can grow their business without incurring additional expenses or reducing margins.
Speaking about the launch Vikas Johiya, Chief of Products at Trodly said “We received repeated requests from existing suppliers for B2B bookings possibility on Trodly.
