The Troulis Royal Collection group is set to open a new property, The Royal Senses Resort & Spa in Crete this June. The property is highly influenced by Crete’s rich heritage and is a perfect blend of the quaint setting of the island, the characteristics of its people and the contemporary modern vibe. The Royal Senses aims to go beyond the general definition of a typical luxury family resort and be a representative of Crete’s resilient beauty.

The resort provides accommodation of 179 suites and villas divided into spacious 35 square meter rooms to ultra-luxurious 200 square meters villas. The well-furnished rooms provide unperturbed views of the sea and are equipped with facilities liked private infinity pools carved organically from rocks encapsulating the island. The resort has 74 infinity pools and 4 large community pools as well as stylish sun loungers and cabanas.

All the rooms and suites open towards an outdoor terrace. Each room features earthy and textural carpentry. The walls are imprinted with traditional Cretan patterns and the furniture is crafted by highly professional third-generation craftsmen. Even the cushions and pillows are handmade in traditional motifs by the local women weavers association.

Zacharias, Kostas and Manolis Troulis, Co-owners, Troulis Royal Collection said in a press brief that the team is completely committed to their responsibility towards the island, its cultural heritage and the people of the region. They shared that the property has been made with the mission of showing guests all sides of the Cretan identity in order to embed themselves purposefully into the texture of the island.

The Royal Senses is located on a serene coast outside the scenic village of Panormos in Crete. It is placed right beside its sister property, the Royal Blue resort. The design of the resort amalgamates Cretan heritage with modern elements. Peppas N Architects has undertaken the construction of the project. The architecture has been designed to largely celebrate the Cretan roots. The interior of the resort has been designed by award-winning consultants the HBA/Hirsch Bedner Associates and London’s Studio Lost founder and creative director Constantina Tsoutsikou.

In addition, the resort comes with 3 restaurants, 4 bars and multiple pop-up food joints. It also offers guests to have a luxurious rejuvenating experience at the activity spa and heated pool.
