Travel & Tourism Fair (TTF) Ahmedabad concluded at Gujarat University Exhibition Hall as a houseful show with over 535 exhibitors.Located in the country’s biggest travel market, TTF Ahmedabad received an overwhelming response, growing 30% over last year. This edition of TTF Ahmedabad witnessed 5,123 trade visitors over the first two days, up seven percent from last year. By the end of the third day, the total number of trade and general visitors crossed 10,000.
The exhibitors at TTF Ahmedabad received a further boost when Ganpatsinh Vasava, Minister for Tourism, Government of Gujarat, visited the event on its second day. The Tourism Minister walked the show and was warmly received at all the exhibition stalls. He also interacted with the representatives at their respective booths.
Participants from 13 Countries and 23 Indian States & Union Territories came to sell at TTF Ahmedabad. These included state tourism boards, national tourist offices, hoteliers, airlines, tour operators and travel agents, online travel companies, railways, cruises and other travel marketers.
Following a blockbuster edition in Ahmedabad, TTF Surat was a sell-out, returning to the centrally-located Pandit Dindayal Upadhyay Indoor Stadium. A houseful gathering of over 150 exhibitors witnessed a bumper turnout of over 8,000 visitors, including close to 1500 from the travel trade from Surat and South Gujarat.
TTF Surat was inaugurated by Ganpatsinh Vasava, Minister for Tourism, Government of Gujarat, who has taken charge of the tourism portfolio just a few weeks back. He had also attended TTF Ahmedabad, showing his commitment for promoting tourism in Gujarat aggressively.
Participants from 3 Countries and 21 Indian States & Union Territories came to sell their destinations and tourism products at TTF Surat. Participants at TTF included state tourism boards, hoteliers, airlines, tour operators and travel agents, online travel companies, railways, cruises and other travel marketers.
TTF will now move to Mumbai (September 16-18), followed by Pune (September 23-25), together comprising the biggest tourism market in India.
