Turkey’s Alanya to welcome tourists with new submarine

SubmarineThe Alanya district of Antalya province in the country of Turkey is gearing up to welcome more tourists thanks to its brand new submarine.


This submarine would enable tourists to discover the Mediterranean Sea and it has already been opened to tourists following some initial test drives. The company ZZT Ulucan Marine imported the submarine known as ‘Nemo Primero’ from Jamaica.


The submarine had been produced in Finland.


It is enriched with a capacity of carrying 22 passengers and two crew members. It is 13 metres in length and it is capable of diving to a maximum of 100 metres in depth. This tourist submarine flaunts beautiful technology and also has a strict security system.


Owing to its high battery capacity, it would be able to travel for a total of 10 hours without any interruption.


Also, it can remain submerged for up to 72 hours and 30 minutes.


Doğucan Şahin, general director, ZZT Ulucan Marine told the local media that his company is making the best efforts to dive eight times per day and take a total of 35,000 tourists every year on a voyage under the sea. Both local and foreign tourists would be able to admire the blue depths around Alanya through 12 underwater visitor windows that would measure about 80 cm in diameter and a larger front plane.
