Turkish Airlines will fly an Airbus A330 daily between Istanbul and Newark, the daily flight will depart Istanbul at 6.35 PM and arrive at 10: 30 PM on the same day, at 12:25 AM the return from Newark will depart with the same-day arrival in Istanbul 5:10 PM.
Travellers who love to sleep on a flight the timings are ideal and may not be the best option for passengers who want to combat jet lag.
Turkish Airlines is connected to a large number of countries and offers passengers connectivity across the world from Bali to the recently announced Vancouver and a triangle routing to Mexico City and Cancun.
The frequencies to New York-JFK is not reduced but the carrier has increased the capacity to New York.
The airlines is a part of the Star Alliance. There is a major hub out of Newark in the Star Alliance partner United Airlines. For connections the flight times are not exactly conducive but the expanding Turkish Network will assure that more passengers will terminate in Newark by connecting through Istanbul.
Turkish Airlines is operating to a number of cities in the United States including to Houston, Chicago, San Francisco and Washington-Dulles among other destinations.
