bird_island_seychellesTourists at a resort in Praslin, in Seychelles, were treated to an unforgettable experience as hundreds and hundreds of baby turtles made their way to the sea under the watchful eye of wardens.

Turtle hatching remains an experience to be remembered in Seychelles and the Lemuria Resort of Praslin has seen more and more turtles coming back to its main beach to lay their eggs.

“Guests were all treated to this great spectacle. Hundreds of baby turtles paraded into the sea as they popped up from under the sand where their nest had been carefully marked and protected,” said Bruno Le Gac, the GM of the resort.

The Constance Lemuria is one of the Resorts in Seychelles now moving to formally apply to be classified as a Sustainable Tourism Product in Seychelles. This will ensure they appear in all the dedicated publicity material being prepared for hotels and resorts in Seychelles that have received the Seychelles Sustainable Tourism Label.
