The United Arab Emirates (UAE) celebrated its 42nd National Day on December 2, 2013. The “ spirit of union “ symbolized the 2nd of December 1971 which was a glory day when the seven Emirates got united under one flag to form United Arab Emirates. Over the years since its founding, it has accomplished, on the local level, high rates of sustainable development and achieved happiness, satisfaction and welfare for its citizens.
His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah sent a cable of congratulations to the President of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayid Al Nuhayyan on his nation’s 42nd Independence Day.
His Highness wished Sheikh Khalifa the best of health, hailed his leadership of his countrymen and the achievements the country secured to date, and wished the people of the UAE more prosperity and development.
As a part of their proud tradition, the birth of the nation is celebrated by participating for the parade or simply attending the event. Designed for the whole family to enjoy, the independence day of UAE is remembered whole heartedly by citizens of the nation. From biker clubs to schools, government entities and corporations, all groups are welcome to participate in the parade and make this year’s National Day celebrations the most fantastic event of the year.
