This year, UAE would participate in OTM, largest travel show in India. It’s going to start from February 21st till 23rd in Mumbai. A national pavilion will be set up by the ministry of economy with the theme ‘visit UAE’. This will feature exhibitors from exhibitors from 18 different government entities and private sector representatives from the tourism, hospitality, and aviation sectors.
Abdullah Saleh Al Hammadi, director of the Ministry’s Tourism Department is one of the important guests of this event. Besides, representatives from local departments and authorities, most notably the Abu Dhabi Tourism and Culture Authority; Dubai Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM); Sharjah Tourism and Commerce Development Authority; Ajman Tourism Development Department; Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Authority; and Fujairah Tourism and Antiquities Authority. Emirates airline, a privileged group of hotels and hospitality and tourism companies, in addition to Miral Asset Management’s Yas Island, Dubai Parks, and Cleveland Clinics, which will promote medical tourism in the UAE, will also be present at the event.
Eng. Sultan bin Saeed Al Mansoori, UAE minister of Economy said that the participation of UAE in the OTM will provide Indian tourism to a global platform. He also said that India is one of the crucial tourism markets for UAE due the deep political, economic and cultural ties that the two nations share among each other.
