Regardless of the legal battle between the parent company of Ultra Europe and Croatia promoter, the company will go to Croatia this summer. Ever since 2013, Worldwide Entertainment Group, Ultra’s parent company and its local promoter Adria MM Productions have been involved in stringent legal battles. Adria MM Productions pointed out that they have undergone years of severe economic crisis in order to maintain working relationships with hotels, ticketing agencies, smaller promoters and artists.
Ultra Europe will celebrate its fifth anniversary this year from 14th to 16th July in Split. It was also reported that the company met with Croatia’s Ministry of Tourism in advance to this year in order to secure one million euros to help make this year’s festival possible.
Ultra Music Festival has officially released a statement in terms of the Croatian branch of the event, in the face of rumors of cancellation because of financial crunch and various local promoter bust-ups. This state, ment also made the party-goers completely sure that the festival will still take place this year.
To quote the company, ‘since its inaugural edition in 2013, ULTRA EuropeTM has been hosted every year on the idyllic Dalmatian Coast in Croatia. Thousands of passionate music lovers from all over the world attend the festival each year at the Poljud Stadium, and it has become the largest electronic music festival in Croatia. For the 5th anniversary of ULTRA EuropeTM, we at ULTRA WorldwideTM, in conjunction with our distinguished local partners, have taken important steps to ensure that the 2017 event is a celebration consistent with the high standards that the ULTRA WorldwideTM brand demands.’
